The Chester Community Block Party and Health Fair is dedicated to fostering community connections and promoting health awareness. Our mission is to support the youth and families of Chester by providing a platform for engagement, education, and empowerment. Through this event, we aim to strengthen community bonds and encourage a holistic approach to health and well-being.

Is this event free?

Yes, entry is free for everyone. The classic car show has a $20 entry fee per car if you’d like to show a vehicle.

What if it rains?

This is a rain or shine event — we’ll see you there no matter the weather!

Is parking available?

Parking is not available directly on 7th Street, but you’ll find plenty of parking on the surrounding streets: Kerlin Street, 8th Street, and Butler Street.

Is the event accessible for strollers/wheelchairs?

Yes, the event is fully accessible for strollers and wheelchairs.

What health screenings will be offered?

Free blood pressure and cholesterol screenings will be available, along with other health resources from our community partners.

Do I need to register in advance?

No advance registration is needed — just show up! Be sure to stop by the welcome desk when you arrive to pick up your tickets for free food and door prize entries.
